Customize appearance, privacy settings, and access support options.

How to Access Settings

  1. Tap the gear icon () in the top-right corner of the home screen
  2. The Settings screen shows your account information and app options

How to Change Application Appearance

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the “Appearance” option under the “App” section
  3. Tap on the Appearance row to open the dropdown menu
  4. Select your preferred option:
    • System - Follows your iOS device's appearance setting
    • Dark - Always use dark mode
    • Light - Always use light mode
  5. The change takes effect immediately

How to Report a Problem

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap “Report a problem” under the “App” section
  3. Enter a description of the issue you're experiencing
  4. Tap “Send Report”
  5. You'll receive a confirmation when your report is sent successfully

How to Toggle Telemetry/Analytics

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap “Data”
  3. Under the “Analytics” section, you'll see the “Telemetry” toggle
  4. Toggle the switch:
    • On (blue) - Help improve the app by sharing anonymous usage data
    • Off (gray) - Opt out of analytics collection
  5. A confirmation alert will appear confirming your choice

Note

Lines uses PostHog for analytics. Your data helps improve the app but you can opt out at any time.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under the “About” section, tap:
    • Terms of use - View the app's terms and conditions
    • Privacy Policy - View how your data is handled
  3. These documents open in an in-app browser view

How to Check Your App Version

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under the “About” section, you'll see “Version”
  3. The current app version number is displayed on the right
